Landscape Chinese Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – Qinglv Style Twisted Pine

This landscape scroll painting holds the qinglv style twisted pine theme the way a good poem holds its subject: lightly, and completely. The composition breathes, leaving the silk's quiet emptiness to do its share of the work. For shoppers browsing elegant chinese wall scroll, this one hits the familiar notes without a hint of fuss.

The qinglv blue-green manner lends the mountains their mineral radiance. Green-blue washes cool the palette, mineral and serene. The mountains roll back in successive waves, a classical device handled with ease. Painted with an easy, practiced brush, the red leaves feels observed rather than invented. Here the twisted pine takes its place in the composition's larger rhythm. The autumn foliage adds a quiet accent, handled in the old manner of the brush. In the middle distance, the bare tree anchors the painting's sense of place. Bands of mist cross the composition, separating near from far. Pine needles are flicked in with quick strokes, lively against the still rock. Foam and falling water are suggested with a few decisive strokes.

For a home leaning toward feng shui home decor, this scroll is a natural fit. A considered gift for housewarmings, retirements, and quiet milestones. Unroll, hang, step back: the room does the rest.
